My name is Carlos Botella Girones, and I sign under the pseudonym of Utopia... Born in Ontinyent, Valence and residing in Pailhès, Ariege, France.

I graduated in Fine Arts from Miguel Hernandez University, Altea; specialized in different fields related to painting.

I consider myself a multidisciplinary artist, in illustration, drawing, painting and urban art. In my works, painted normally in acrylic on canvas, I intend to show my passion for nature and animals, with a pop-surreal touch. I mix dreamlike landscapes and small details with a certain softness and delicacy.

Painting for me is very important, it allows me to express with passion what I feel for nature and colors. Imagining and creating dreamlike worlds makes me feel free, and the idea of doing frescoes allows me to connect with people, not only through the fact of painting, but also through the links that are created with pedestrians. I love that feeling of doing what I love and seeing grateful passers-by at the same time. Contributing and giving a small part of me to the population is rewarding. Unlike the paintings that I also paint, the murals are open to everyone, who come to visit it for free and freely.
